  Abstract

Information retrieval system user such as novices or elementary school students are usually used in query language for IR. Generally, pronoun is scarcely used in query language. So, Interrogative pronoun has to be considered for elicitation of user's formal requirements without any error from Query Language. We defined the four pronoun patterns to allow using of restricted Interrogative pronoun when writing a Query Language in Korean Language. An interrogative pronoun in query language be replaced by keyword with same semantic and information. Then, user's intention for query language become more clearly. For this, only desired documents are retrieved by high level rank.
