  Abstract

Digital inpainting provides a means for reconstructing slightly damaged portions of image. Novel algorithm based on fast matching method is proposed for fast image inpainting. Proposed method is compared with the methods using median filter and texture synthesis. Experimental results showed that proposed method was faster than conventional method when reconstructing slightly damaged portions of image.
