  Abstract

This paper proposes a distributed antenna system (DAS) for achieving a target ultra reliable and low latency communication (URLLC) performance. Compared to the conventional communication systems without the latency constraint, the low-latency communication systems have degraded transmission rate and reliability due to its short coding blocklength. We develop a resource allocation framework for DASs to mitigate the performance degradations and show that DAS can significantly reduce the required spectrum resources to achieve a target performance in most cases.
