  Abstract

This letter studies the optimal number of feedback bits required for downlink MIMO systems in dense cellular networks. An asymptotic number of feedback bits that maximizes the net spectral efficiency is analyzed. Moreover, the increasing rate of the optimal number is investigated with respect to the channel coherence time.
