  Abstract

In this paper, we propose a deep learning based channel estimation method in multipath fading environment. If the pilot sequences for channel estimation are transmitted through the multipath fading channel, their amplitude and phase change in the channel. The deep learning algorithm is applied to estimate the channel. We compare the performance of the deep learning based channel estimator with the widely used linear channel estimator. The deep learning based channel estimator performs better than the conventional linear channel estimation scheme with respect to the mean squared error (MSE).
