  Abstract

With the recent spread of UHDTV, the use of HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) is increasing. In this paper, we implemented a contrast enhancement algorithm suitable for the visual characteristis of people with low vision based on HEVC. In the decoding process of the HEVC intra mode, the ehancement was implemented, and enhancement filter (EF) proposed in this study was individually applied to each of the four TU sizes (4x4, 8x8, 16x16, 32x32) to a uniform inverse quatization rate according to the QP value.
