  Abstract

In this paper, we propose an enhanced random access parallelization (RAP) technique based on interference cancellation. In the proposed scheme, the base station (BS) does not discard the collided messages (i.e., Step3 messages) during the random access (RA) and attempts to recover them via interference cancellation operations. Through simulations, we verify the superiority of our proposed scheme in terms of the RA failure probability.
