In this paper, a new indoor navigation system specifically designed for a multi-story building is proposed. The system assists users in finding the optimal path to multiple target positions, minimizing costs such as distance or time. The 2-OPT algorithm and the A* (A-star) algorithm are applied to achieve this goal. The modified 2-OPT algorithm adapted for 3D environments is applied to calculate the optimal sequence to visit multiple destinations. Subsequently, the A* algorithm generates the shortest path between two consecutive destinations in the sequence of visits to multiple destinations obtained from the modified 2-OPT algorithm. A simple experiment is conducted to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed system. The results obtained from this experiment will be examined and analyzed." }
