  Abstract

In this paper, we mathematically analyzed the relationship between the number of relays and the efficiency of a magnetic resonant wireless power transfer system. In addition, through Advanced Design System simulations, we confirmed that there is an optimal number of relays for achieving the maximum system efficiency when the distance between the transmitter and the receiver is constant.
