  Abstract

We use smart phones and computers everyday to work and communicate. Smart phones and computers have various programs that support them, and there is a lot of controversy over copyright infringement related to these programs.This has led to many cases in which copyright holders and law firms of font programs are claiming copyright infringement and sending warnings or proof of content to users of public institutions, businesses and individuals, or demanding outrageous settlements under the pretext of civil and criminal charges. Thus, this study will find the right protection and utilization through analysis of various cases surrounding copyright protection of the most socially problematic computer programs under this recognition. To this end, this study seeks to examine the status of copyright infringement and protection through existing relevant literature studies and case studies (including precedents) centered on font programs, and to present policy measures that can be easily used by anyone.
