  Abstract

In this paper, the locally optimum rank detection scheme based on sign and rank statistics in a multiplicative observation model is considered. The test statistics of the locally optimum rank detectors for known signals in multiplicative noise are derived. We also investigate the two-sample observation model, where it is assumed that reference observations are available in addition to regular observations.
