  Abstract

This paper presents the concatenation method between selected mapping (SLM) scheme for improving the probabilistic distribution of the peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) and tone reservation (TR) scheme for limiting the PAPR value in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. The proposed concatenation scheme shows the improvement of PAPR performance with little increase in computational complexity compared to the conventional PAPR reduction schemes.
